My stay at the park hotel was thoroughly enjoyable, with clean and comfortable rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. The grounds were spacious, and the pool provided a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. However, I did encounter issues with bugs both inside and outside the room, which detracted from the experience. Also, the dining experience was a bit challenging with flies around the outdoor tables, but the food was excellent and generous in portion.

I had a wonderful two-day stay at the caravan park, enjoying its peaceful atmosphere and the beauty of the gardens. The owners were incredibly welcoming, and the restaurant offered reasonably priced meals along with nightly entertainment, which was a delightful surprise. However, the amenities could use some updates, and there is a staff shortage that sometimes impacts service. Despite this, the experience felt like great value for money.

5.2/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay. The location is convenient for travelers passing through, and the owners are friendly, trying to make the best of the situation. However, the room was extremely basic and bug-ridden, which was quite uncomfortable. The dining experience was decent, but there were too many insects around, making it hard to enjoy my meals properly.

Rooms

The room was quite basic, spacious, but had an old rattling air conditioner which made it less comfortable.
Service

The service was satisfactory enough, but it felt like they were a bit disorganized. I had issues with accessing the Wi-Fi, and that was frustrating.

The hotel is conveniently located for a stopover on the way to Tennant Creek, but it's closer to Darwin than expected.
Dining

The meals at the onsite restaurant were large and good value, but the presence of flies was off-putting.

5.6/10

The park hotel offers a very basic setup that may only work for a one-night stay, especially for those who value comfortable accommodations. The welcoming atmosphere from the new owners is a plus, and there are some nice outdoor spaces. However, the lack of amenities like Wi-Fi and seating in the room detracts from the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was quite basic, lacking side tables or chairs, and had just a jug and paper cups. The air conditioning was old and rattled a bit.
Service
5.0
Service was acceptable but unfortunately hindered by issues such as Wi-Fi availability and the lack of response to requests for necessary information.
Location
6.0
Located within a park area, the setting could be enjoyable, especially with live entertainment nearby, but the facilities are still a long walk away.
Dining
8.0
I was surprised by the quality of the meal prepared by the international chef; it was unexpectedly delicious, with highlights including grilled meat and homemade apple strudel.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities felt quite limited given the basic setup, with minimal number of toilets and showers and no internet access.

I had quite an experience at this campground. While it was bustling, it lacked essential amenities, making it less enjoyable for a quiet stay. The activities at night were unexpected and not what I hoped for in a relaxing getaway. However, the management was friendly, and the food was decent, with a great pool to cool off in.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms had ample space, but the air conditioning rattled, which was a bit bothersome.
Service
7.0
Service started off rocky with a frosty reception, but ultimately turned friendly and helpful.
Location
8.0

Dining
8.0
The food was decent, with particularly good snitzel that stood out during my visit.
Facilities
6.0
The pool was nice and a good spot to escape the heat, but other facilities were lacking.
